EMB-Z2538PA è un modulo wireless a 2.4 GHz che integra un avanzato core ARM Cortex-M3 a 32 bit e un transceiver radio di ultima generazione. L’architettura ARM avanzata semplifica lo sviluppo di applicazioni a basso consumo basate su IEEE 802.15.4 / ZigBee / 6LoWPAN, consentendo di aggiungere connettività wireless e networking multi-hop ai prodotti esistenti.

I moduli EMB-Z2538PA vengono forniti programmati con EBI-802.15.4, che consente al cliente di utilizzare i moduli come un semplice modem pronto all’uso (tramite comandi tipo AT su UART; vedere la pagina del protocollo EBI per maggiori informazioni). Il kit di valutazione EMB-Z2538PA-EVK è fortemente consigliato ai clienti che desiderano sviluppare applicazioni firmware personalizzate, poiché fornisce tutti gli strumenti necessari per caricare un firmware personalizzato sul modulo.
