At our booth, you will experience two live demonstrations showcasing Embit’s most recent innovations.
The first will present a Mesh-over-LoRa network in action. Combining Embit’s expertise with Neocortec’s NeoMesh protocol, this solution provides a genuine low-power mesh network based on EMB-LR1121-e/mesh modules. It creates an autonomous, scalable, and adaptive infrastructure designed for smart monitoring applications without hierarchical constraints by fully exploiting the distinctive advantages of LoRa modulation.
Moreover, the EMB-LR1121-e module has the ability to perform hot switching between different protocols, enabling intelligent communication across multiple networks. A second demo will demonstrate the module capability to switch from LoRaWAN® to Wireless M-Bus protocol depending on network conditions, avoiding packet-loss. This application is particularly interesting for the metering field and meets today’s highest reliability standards while offering exceptional operational flexibility.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to discover our 2.4 GHz LoRa® product suite, including our latest module: the EMB-LR1280PA. Compared to the EMB-LR1280s, this module integrates a Power Amplifier (PA), making it especially suitable for noisy environments and arduous long-range communications. It also has an LNA that enhances LoRa’s excellent sensitivity further, reducing the coverage gap compared to sub-1 GHz modulation. In addition, FLRC modulation also enables even more demanding applications by increasing both range and data rate.
Finally, our complete product portfolio will be on display, featuring comprehensive solutions across IEEE 802.15.4, Wireless M-Bus, LoRaWAN®, and LoRa® D2D (device-to-device). We will also showcase full LoRaWAN® Gateways and mPCIe cards, enabling you to build your own customized concentrator solutions.
